The Foundation's mission
The Foundation's mission is to create a culture of historical memory and civic awareness among contemporaries, develop patriotic initiatives, and support and popularize Russian projects.
The Foundation's activities
Support for projects aimed at establishing the fate of compatriots who died and went missing during the Second World War and other military conflicts
Development and implementation of initiative military–historical projects, actions and other events of various levels and scales related to the most important historical, memorable, modern events in the life of the country, including participation in military–historical festivals and military–historical reconstructions
Countering attempts at anti-Russian manifestations related to belittling and distorting the great historical past, the conquests and achievements of the Fatherland, including victories during the Second World War and other military conflicts
Joint participation with state, municipal, veteran and other public organizations in various programs to preserve historical memory, improve the content and quality of patriotic education of citizens of the country
Providing assistance to schools, cadet corps, secondary and higher educational institutions in order to form an active civic position of youth
Assistance in the electronic translation of documents in order to restore and preserve active documents of the Second World War and other military conflicts
Development of information activities to popularize the military historical heritage of Russia, the military traditions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including examples of courage, spiritual and moral qualities, heroism, courage shown by citizens in the defense of the Fatherland
Assistance to military memorial activities in military history museums, libraries and other educational institutions in generalizing and disseminating best practices
Promoting the creation of a common information field in the country in order to develop and support information and educational projects for all stakeholders through the Internet, communication networks, and mass media
Holding round tables, conferences and other events with the participation of government agencies, business, the public, youth and veteran organizations on the history of the Fatherland, socio–economic development, development of civil society, increasing the prestige of professional work of workers in the fields of science, education and cultureObjectives of the activity
